For the first time, a complete catalog of SOA design patterns will be made available for an industry-wide review.
The entire first draft of the design pattern catalog was published at www.soapatterns.org, allowing the international SOA and patterns communities to review and provide feedback regarding all design patterns.
Furthermore, over 130 galleys were printed and distributed to industry professionals representing major SOA organizations, academic institutions, and the SOA practitioner community. Each galley was accompanied with a detailed questionnaire.
The patterns will eventually be printed in the upcoming book "SOA Design Patterns" by Thomas Erl and from Prentice Hall.
