As part of the research project wherein SOA Systems studied commonality across all SOA vendor platforms to derive a mainstream methodology for SOA, SOA Systems also performed a great deal of research into the service-orientation paradigm. The result was the identification and definition of a common set of service-orientation principles in full alignment with current and upcoming industry SOA support.
The research was recently published in the Web Services Journal (WSJ) as the featured cover article (entitled "The Principles of Service-Orientation: New Research Reveals the Fundamental Dynamics Behind SOA") in the September, 2005 edition.
