SOA Systems has been keeping track of common SOA adoption pitfalls since 2004. In 2005 the most common set of pitfalls were documented as part of "Service-Oriented Architecture: Concepts, Technology, and Design", which was released in August, 2005.
Looking back at the trends and projects that occurred during that year, SOA Systems organized its most common adoption pitfalls into a Top 5 List, which was published at SOA Institute.org.
