Thomas Erl, author of the upcoming book "SOA Design Patterns", wrote the cover article for the June, 2008 issue of the SOA World Magazine entitled, "Introducing SOA Design Patterns".
This article provides an overview of the design pattern catalog that will be published in the book by describing a cross-section of different types of design patterns and pattern languages.
